Cold Weather Typing Gloves
Sent: December 29, 2002

(Reference TI-8)

I like it when it is cold but typing becomes difficult when it is too cold. Gloves provide comfort but they make me a clumsy when typing. I think I will buy some cheap gloves and customize them by removing the fingertips of the gloves. Customizing gloves in this nature is not ideal since the ends become frayed and loose and the material in between the fingers gets in the way. If I were to design gloves specifically for cold weather typing then they would have nothing on the fingertips, have a snug fit just below the first digit, and would have a thin, slick material in between the fingers that pass by one another when typing. They would also have a lot of insulation on the top of the hand and on the palm. I would call them "Eskimo Typers".

Oh man, I wish I had some of these gloves. I have been working nights typing for the past four years, and I end up typing so slow when its cold that its hardly worth working!
