Below are some thoughts submitted by Bob Hartunian, my mentor while I worked at Boeing. I am very thankful for all he has helped me with over the years and I would highly recommend that any engineer to take Bob up on his offer to "shed some light on the current situation". He is very knowledgeable about the aerospace engineering industry and really enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience. Also, he is the best story teller I have ever known . . . If you get on his good side then he might tell you one of his famous stories.

Having decided to retire from the aerospace business after 42 yrs of building flight hardware, I thought it might be appropriate for older people like me to mentor young folks who may be considering an aerospace engineering career. If anyone is thinking about taking a step in that direction, perhaps I could shed some light on the current situation and give some forecast of the future for this business.

I personally know the website owner and have some knowledge of his engineering background and the paths he has taken. Might be interesting for others to hear about what Grant did in the way of educational pursuits and his present outlook.
